About Àradamilola
Tour with Àradamilola is led by Friday Oluwadamilola
(Morenikeji Àradamilola) — a creative tourism curator,
cultural tour producer, and heritage storyteller working across Nigeria.
She holds a B.A. (Ed.) in Creative Arts, an M.A. in Fine and Applied Art,
and is currently pursuing a PhD in Art History. Her strong academic
grounding in art education, visual culture, and historical research
informs her approach to curating immersive, educational, and culturally
rich tourism experiences that connect people meaningfully to place,
heritage, and lived history.
Why I Do This Work
I believe travel can be more than movement from one place to another.
It can be a way of learning, remembering, and reconnecting — to land,
to history, and to the people who live within it.
My work sits at the intersection of cultural tourism, visual storytelling,
and cultural education. Rather than mass tourism, I prioritise intentional
travel. Rather than spectacle, I focus on cultural depth.
How the Tours Are Curated
With an academic background in visual and creative arts, my tourism practice
is research-driven and culturally grounded. Each experience is carefully
designed to go beyond sightseeing.
Tours often combine historical narratives, guided interpretation, local
participation, experiential activities, and time for reflection — allowing
participants to engage meaningfully with place rather than consume it
quickly.
I work closely with local guides, host communities, cultural practitioners,
creatives, and security teams to deliver experiences that are immersive,
respectful, and safe.
Experience & Scope
Through Tour with Àradamilola, I have led multiple cultural, heritage,
and nature-based tours across Southwest and parts of Northern Nigeria.
These include experiences at Idanre Hills, Badagry Heritage sites,
Ado-Awaye (Iyake Suspended Lake), Yemoji Natural Pool, Abeokuta cultural
sites, Suleja Dam, City Gate Mountain, Bwari Pottery community,
Kunle Afolayan Film Village, and Ibadan Film Village — among others.
Across these journeys, tours often integrate hiking, heritage storytelling,
cultural performances, local cuisine, and community interaction, consistently
attracting diverse participants and positive feedback.
